The Clackamas County Fair takes place during the summer in the month of August. This year 141,180 people attended the County Fair. The Clackamas County Fairgrounds grounded roots since 1907. The Clackamas County Fair is filled with Fantastic Rides, livestock exhibits, great entertainers and 5 days of Down and Dirty PRCA rodeo. In 2000, the Clackamas County Fair had large area with a 20th century town theme along with stores. Its proprietors where dressed in 20th Century Costumes. Judging and Exhibition Contest take place in the following categories: Cake/Table Decorating, Chili Cook-Off, Collections, Horse Show, Large Livestock, Pigeons & Poultry, Rabbit, Static Open Class, and Talent Show.

The Rodeo is sanctioned by PRCA and the event usually requires three cowboys with their "cutting" horses to cut three specific marked calves from a herd of 30. Bareback riding also takes into effect every year with the top cowboys of the world. They are matched with Growney Brothers excellent stock. The Rodeo can be enjoyed for a serious of five days and an award of $7,500 is given per event.
